STANDARDS OF CARE AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
As early as 1990, our primary concern was the quality of care to our patients. We established the standard that the care provided had to be at a level equal to or greater than that provided by chiropractors in the United States. Therefore, as early as 1990, as part of our self imposed clinical facilities accreditation and professional employment criteria, all doctors on our staff had to, as a minimum, meet the following:

• Show proof of graduation from an accredited chiropractic college recognized by the Chiropractic Council on Education.

• Proof of certification by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

• Proof of having obtained a chiropractic license in one of the 50 United States, a U.S. Territory, or another country that grants licenses that are recognized by the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards (FCLB).

• Pass a background check and maintain a standard of personal and professional conduct that does not warrant any disciplinary action to be taken.​

Due to family and other commitments, Dr. Mitchell returned to the United States in 1992 and established Makati Chiropractic Center in Pacifica, California. In 1993, Dr. Walter Brush took the helm as the Director of Clinics and has done an excellent job upholding and promoting the highest standards of health care. To ensure the standard of care and quality of our staff, Dr. Brush has personally been involved with clinical operations at all locations. To this day, we continue to enforce our original motto:
